LONG DESCRIPTION
Signs of Life is a 2D sci-fi survival game with a world that changes from one
new game to the next, plus story locations built by hand. Players explore,
mine, build, and meet strange creatures, some of which do not want to kill
them and eat their corpse.

Humanity sends two ships toward a potentially habitable planet 14 light-years
from Earth. The scout ship Hermes arrives first. Four years later, the colony
ship Hephaestus stops to investigate a faint signal from a nearby asteroid and
is destroyed. The player escapes with little more than their clothes, a
wrist-mounted laser, and a faulty AI companion named AGIS.

On the planet below, survival grows into exploration, construction, combat,
and an investigation into what happened before the colony ship arrived. Ores,
materials, and animal organs become weapons, armor, gadgets, furniture, and
tools for reaching deeper into the world.
